LA Jolla, CA (December 10, 2020) Coastwise Capital Group, LLC is pleased to announce Mr. Patrick Fischer will be joining our team as a Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager. Coastwise is proud to add a team member with such an extensive securities background.
Mr. Fischer holds a BA in mathematics and a BS in computer science engineering from UC San Diego as well as an MBA with a concentration in finance from UC Berkeley.
He has been investing in public companies for nearly 20 years and brings a diverse background of experience in portfolio management, trading, research, and client service.

Mr. Fischer began his career with Mr. Kyle at G2 Capital Management in La Jolla in 2002 as an equity research associate. From 2004 to 2008, Mr. Fischer co-managed a systematic global macro hedge fund at Mellon Capital Management in San Francisco. After graduating from business school, Mr. Fischer spent the following decade overseas in Singapore and London in commodities trading and business development roles at Nomura, Citi, and Trafigura.
Mr. Fischer now brings his extensive career experience in commodities, derivatives, securities, and portfolio management to Coastwise Capital Group where he specializes in crafting custom portfolios tailored to Coastwise clients’ needs and goals.
