Operations and Marketing Manager (Full Time - On Site)

Coastwise is seeking a full-time Operations and Marketing Manager to join the Coastwise team. They will report directly to Scott Kyle, CEO & Chief Investment Officer. The Operations and Marketing Manager to join our team will play a key role in running the day-to-day operations of the firm while leading our marketing efforts to grow our brand and client base. This is a highly visible role working closely with the CEO, partners, and clients. The ideal candidate will be someone with a financial background, but all resumes will be considered. Job Responsibilities:
Oversee daily firm operations to ensure smooth client service and office efficiency.
Manage client onboarding, account transfers, and custodial relationships (primarily Schwab).
Plan and execute client and community events to strengthen relationships and visibility such as the Coastwise Spelling Prize and various Speaker Series events.
Support financial advisors with scheduling, reports, month-end reconciliations, and performance summaries to assist in investment decision-making.
Maintain and update all websites, CRM and reporting systems.
Work closely with team to track lead lifecycles and execute outreach via email campaigns.
Complete special projects as requested by management and other duties as required by position.
Create and assist with marketing initiatives such as company newsletter, press releases, updating/creating brochures and posting on social platforms.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
Experience in operations, marketing, or client service (financial services experience) preferred.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms (HubSpot, Wix, or similar).
Knowledge of investment advisory operations and custodial platforms ideal.
Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced boutique environment.
