Coastwise Seeks Scholarship Applicants

LA JOLLA, CA (November 30, 2009) Coastwise Capital Group, LLC is seeking applicants for its annual scholarship program. The Coastwise Prize for Investing Excellence is a scholarship aimed at sophomore, junior and senior students attending La Jolla High School, The Bishop's School, La Jolla Country Day, SCY High and The Preuss School at UCSD. Awarding over $10,000 in scholarship money to the final 6 winners, the mission of the Coastwise Prize is to promote and inspire financial education to help our youth become more competent, aware and wise when managing personal finances and investments. The winners have the opportunity to invest their prize money in a 529 college savings plan to be used for college expenses. Highlighting the scholarship program is an Awards Ceremony where top contestants gather to hear speeches by prominent leaders and educators praising their involvement and encouraging continued interest in learning more about this critical, lifelong topic.

LA JOLLA, CA (November 3, 2009) Coastwise Capital Group, LLC, an independent investment management firm, has moved offices to 888 Prospect Street, Suite 201 in La Jolla to accommodate recent growth. The 2,000 square foot space is being leased for 4 years for approximately $339,163.

Coastwise, recently named La Jolla's Top Financial Advisor in the La Jolla Light's 2009 "Best of La Jolla" poll, provides money management services by creating customized investment portfolios for affluent individuals, families, and institutions worldwide.

David Marino of Irving Hughes represented the lessee and Pascal Aubrey-Dumand of Cushman & Wakefield represented the lessor.
